Today, we wanted to introduce you to a set of music videos performed by a rock band called OK Go. OK Go is a rock band originally from Chicago, Illinois, USA, now residing in Los Angeles, USA. The band is composed of Damian Kulash (lead vocals and guitar), Tim Nordwind (bass guitar andvocals), Dan Konopka (drums and percussion) and Andy Ross (guitar, keyboards and vocals), who joined them in 2005, replacing Andy Duncan. They are perhaps best known for their often elaborate and quirky music videos.
The original members formed as OK Go in 1998 and released two studio albums before Duncan's departure. The band's video for "Here It Goes Again" won a Grammy Award for "Best Short-Form Music Video" in 2007. This video was taken on four treadmills. It was also taken in one single shot – meaning, no cut, fix the shot and take again. They started recording, performed the whole thing and that was recorded. It was very well choreographed.
Here’s the video.

In March 2010, they published another great video called "This Too Shall Pass". This was directed by James Frost, OK Go and Syyn Labs and produced by Shirley Moyers. The video was filmed in a two story warehouse, in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA. The "machine" was designed and built by the band, along with members of Syyn Labs ( http://syynlabs.com/ ) over the course of several months.
Who can tell me who is the inspiration behind such an elaborate setup? Who was the original inventor for such machines (worth one star!)? There's one very interesting machine he made which was made into a board game and there are few people who go around USA with a life size working set. Where else have you seen such elaborate machines?

In Sep 2010, they published another video to support animal rescue. The video is titled “White Knuckles with friends”. You can probably guess who they mean by friends.

Well kids, I know it is a lot of fun watching videos on the Internet. However, we want you to be little careful. There are many bad people out there posting all sorts of inappropriate videos. Always ask your parents before watching anything else on YouTube or Internet in general.
